A new illustrator, Evan Jensen, has posted examples of work that will be featured in Broken Time Blues, the anthology of science fiction/fantasy which will include my story "Button Up Your Overcoat." (The other artist that I am aware of, Galen Dara, created the book's cover illustration.) The two artists are employing very different styles; not surprising, since the anthology centers on science fiction/fantasy that takes place in the 1920s, a time that featured a great deal of stylistic innovation.

The idea that there will be original illustrations in the book is one I find very exciting; I think it will be the first publication that I've contributed to in which original art will be a strong feature.
